I met an old friend from HS for dinner to catch up on my progress. Although I visited their sister restaurant, Pita Inn, many times, this is my first visit at Zad. The restaurant is simply decorated. It is clean and spotless. Orders are placed and picked up at the counter near the front door. I ordered a steak shawarma while my friend had a shrimp & chicken dinner plate with a bowl of lentil soup. The shawarma was wrapped and lightly grilled. The portion was perfect. My friend wasn't thrilled about her shrimp & chicken combo plate. She said it was a bit too greasy for her. Nevertheless, we enjoyed each other's company and had a few laughs. It was wonderful spending time with an old friend over a meal. Parking is available around the establishment. I'd definitely visit again.

I'm a Pita Inn stan so this is easily a favorite. The service is quick and easy. You can order online to save even more time. A lot of the food is similar to Pita Inn but there are a few different items, including delicious grilled chicken kebabs. There's plenty of sitting room inside and it makes for a great place for takeout, a quick lunch during working hours, or a casual dinner with family/friends. The entrees are also served with fatoush salad instead of iceberg lettuce which I really appreciate. Unfortunately when I ordered shrimp it didn't taste good and had a rubbery texture. However, the hummus, falafel, labneh, salad, and chicken are all spectacular.

Very good place to eat at reasonable price for food service good too gentleman help with food delivery if you have cane or walker he brought all food to my table and cleaned up for me it is self serve place but they go out their way to make indoor dining a pleasure sorry no picture I ate really fast too hungry to take picture but check it out for yourself

Came for a late lunch and the hostess was so nice and they accommodated swaps for their sides in the entrees. I tired the impossible kebabs and it was AMAZING! I actually prefer it now over the meat option. They also gave me a ton of sauce and pita!!

I've been craving Pita Inn falafels for a week so today when I went to get a few essentials from their market, I stopped by Zad next door and got a dozen falafels to go. I had to wait a few minutes because they were making a fresh batch, so they were super fresh and delicious (as always). I'm very excited to have falafel pitas for the next few days. Heck yes.

We picked up from Zad's for an After event party for about 30. It was ordered last minute so great they could accommodate us. Decent sized dining area and quiet around 7 Sunday evening. We ordered a variety of dishes. Main-Beef Shish Kabob, Chicken Tender and Falafel-Chicken and Falafel were enjoyed more than the Beef. Hummus and Fatoush Salad were excellent. Turnip salad was a good one to try-salty and something different. Zad's Rice was also very good. Service was friendly and upbeat for pick up. Connected to the Pita Inn and looks like a local favorite.

Great speedy service. You order at the counter and food is ready for you to take out or eat in, in 5-10 minutes. Everything was wonderful. The falafel was just right:crispy on the outside and fluffy/moist on the inside. Yum! The vegetarian plate is GF, which is great for some of my family that has gluten intolerance. We will definitely be back!

I don't live far, and I rarely visit Zad or Pita Inn, but I needed something for lunch that wasn't fast food. I ordered the Zad lunch special to go. I was kinda surprised it wasn't busier inside because I know the Pita Inn gets packed for lunchtime. I didn't check my meal until I got home, but I thought the lunch special used to come with shawarma, too. It came with chicken, beef kabobs, falafel, salad, and rice. It also had the sauce and pita on the side. Overall, it's not a bad meal, but tbh I've had much better Middle Eastern food, so I don't see myself visiting Pita Inn/Zad very often.

I was craving hummus the other night and didn't have time to get groceries. To fix my dinner issues, I ordered delivery from Zad by Pita Inn. I got a falafel wrap with fries and my husband got a chicken wrap with fries. I also got a side of hummus! The wraps came in really good shape, they were hot and not soggy at all. The falafel tasted great, I feel like it is either really hit or miss at restaurants and they did a great job. My husband enjoyed the chicken wrap and the fries were nothing special but they were tasty! This spot is also pretty affordable.

I met a friend here for a weeknight dinner. We needed a place between the areas we live and, because she was leaving from dinner for a drive of a few hours, we also wanted something relatively quick. She suggested Zad and I eagerly agreed. It was quiet there at 6:30 on a weeknight. We arrived at the same time as another party of two and offered to let them order ahead of us. They were a little slow but that gave us plenty of time to browse the menu and make decisions. Zad operates as fast casual - you order at the counter and then pick up your food when it's ready (or, in our case, a staff member brought it out to us). The food is prepared quickly, or at least it was during our visit, and is made fresh to order. I had the falafel entree, which came with two sides. I chose baba ghanoush and rice. The falafel was seasoned well and fried to a crisp while still being tender inside. The baba ghanoush was delightfully smoky and garlicky. My entree came with two fresh, warm pita, perfect for dipping in the eggplant. We also shared hummus, which has now ruined all other hummus for me for at least a month. The restaurant was clean and quiet. In addition to the party who ordered ahead of us, there was one other table with a family. It was an easy place to catch up over delicious food and enjoy our visit.
